Established by Theresa Moltoni in 2008, IRIQ was initially focused on assisting clients to get their Agreements in place prior to the Fair Work Act coming into effect. IRIQ was overwhelmed with requests that kept the team in a frenzied flurry of activity for some months.
In her previous Corporate HR & IR experience, Theresa found it difficult to find practitioners to assist her, who were able to link the objectives & principles of good business strategy to effective execution in the Workplace. So she modelled IRIQ on being able to do just that for businesses, whether they be large Corporates or SMEs.
Over time, IRIQ spoke at industry events around Australia about the new legislation and practical strategies that would assist businesses to grow. Each new speaking engagement brought new clients who have maintained a mutual loyalty with IRIQ over the years since.
In 2011, the size of IRIQ grew further as the IRIQ team embarked on the writing of “Industrial Relations 101TM“. A training program designed to close the skills gap for IR Practitioners & Operational Managers. After 11 months, the first program was released in November that year. It was a great success & in 2014 IRIQ set about offering this program online so that practitioners from all over Australia and indeed the world, can enjoy the program. The online program partners with a practical intensive day which ensures an opportunity to put those important skills into practice through a series of real life role plays.
Since moving into the Brisbane CBD in 2011, IRIQ has increased its number of Practitioners and opened its Perth Office in early 2015. IRIQ boasts an impressive, experienced, street savvy, team of practitioners that can handle just about anything.
In 2014 IRIQ launched its Balloting services, leading the way in SMS and online technologies to provide transparent and professional balloting services from the IRIQ team that understands the requirements of the Fair Work Act and Agreement making.
In 2017 IRIQ became an Incorporated Legal Practice expanding its service offering to provide both legal and non-legal services, it introduced the new trading name IRIQ Law.
There is no doubt that IRIQ’s success has been hastened by the team’s successful track record in delivering innovative and considered workplace legal services. For this IRIQ clearly holds a respected reputation amongst its peers and across the industry sectors in which they operate.
